In late 2003, Indian-American entrepreneur Roj Niyogi had a vision that global small businesses could take advantage of quality outsourcing just as large businesses do. With this vision at heart, he embarked on a personal journey to Calcutta to see what he could do and opened a small office on the ground floor of his grandmother's house in the suburbs of Calcutta and hired a handful of people to begin with.
Two years later, Tripod Computing Services Pvt Ltd is now a leading IT service company in Calcutta serving hundreds of customers from all corners of the globe. In addition to our customer base, we've set up strategic partnerships allowing us to extend reach into local markets in the US, Australia, and UK.

Mr. Roj Niyogi founded Tripod Computing Services Pvt Ltd in early 2004. Born and raised in the US by Indian parents, Niyogi came to Calcutta to bootstrap the operations with a few thousand dollars saved up from an earlier project he had been working on for several years prior.
